Mark was very professional and knowledgeable I e-mailed Stockbridge Flooring for a quote and Mark rang back within 15 minutes to set up an appointment. We were looking for hardwood flooring but Mark confirmed we could use the existing floorboards that had been covered by carpet for years. This also halved the price of the job and the quote was very reasonable. Mark and his team turned up as promised and carried out the job to a very high standard. The floor was sanded, the gaps filled in, some boards replaced and three coats of varnish applied. It looks amazing and Mark was there to provide advice on how to keep it looking good. I have recommended Mark to many people since and would have no hesitation in using again. Excellent company.
I have recently had work done by your company. I found the staff to be helpful, friendly and reliable. Although faced with setbacks they persevered until the work was completed to a very high standard. The recommended Kahrs rustic oak flooring in the living room, kitchen and hall compliments the Victorian apartment. They replaced boards in the bedroom blend in well with the sanded floor. Overall I am delighted with both the service and the results and will have no hesitation in recommending your company to friends and family.

Beautiful reclaimed wood floor I was impressed with these guys from start to end of the process. Mark was quick and honest to produce a highly competitive quote, delivered samples to my house and then was able to start work around my schedule. The end result is superb and the customer service was amazing even when we managed to lock ourselves out of our own home for half a day, Mark still finished on time and on budget. We had just moved back to Edinburgh after many years away and had no idea which tradesmen to employ but wanted to use someone local. Mark was quick to respond, speedy with his quote and he and his team have done a wonderful job, going out of their way to do that little bit extra. They stripped, repaired and polished our old wooden floors, and when we realized they did painting as well, we happily employed them for that too. Everyone was very friendly, polite and helpful and the whole place is looking wonderful thanks to them. Can’t recommend the enough.
