Floor Sanding We’re so delighted with our floors- excellent service and done really quickly. Mark came round and quoted the next day and we were really impressed with his knowledge. Our living room, bedroom and hall was all done within two days, and at a very reasonable price. The finished look is great! I’d definitely recommend them if you want great floors with no hassle.
Stockbridge Flooring sanded and varnished our dining room floor. We had wanted this done for some time but as the floor was covered with a thick layer of bitumen we had convinced ourselves it would be impossible. Friends had their floors sanded by Stockbridge Flooring and recommended them so we decided to see if they could help. Although Mark said the bitumen was the worst he had seen they did a great job and it is impossible to tell the boards were once entirely black! With a baby and toddler in the house and the dining room the only way to access the kitchen we were worried about disruption in getting the floor sanded. However, the room was sealed off to keep any dust contained, the dining room cleaned after the work was finished and the job completed as quickly as possible. The disruption was kept to an absolute minimum. We will be getting our other floors sanded soon.
Mark was very professional and knowledgeable I e-mailed Stockbridge Flooring for a quote and Mark rang back within 15 minutes to set up an appointment. We were looking for hardwood flooring but Mark confirmed we could use the existing floorboards that had been covered by carpet for years. This also halved the price of the job and the quote was very reasonable. Mark and his team turned up as promised and carried out the job to a very high standard. The floor was sanded, the gaps filled in, some boards replaced and three coats of varnish applied. It looks amazing and Mark was there to provide advice on how to keep it looking good. I have recommended Mark to many people since and would have no hesitation in using again. Excellent company.
I have recently had work done by your company. I found the staff to be helpful, friendly and reliable. Although faced with setbacks they persevered until the work was completed to a very high standard. The recommended Kahrs rustic oak flooring in the living room, kitchen and hall compliments the Victorian apartment. They replaced boards in the bedroom blend in well with the sanded floor.
